Intensive Care Nurse New

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Duration: 3 months (will most likely be extended)

PR: $40-$50/hour

Location: Columbia, SC, 29204

Start Date: May 5th, 2025

Hours: 7p - 7a - 3x12s - working one shift every other weekend

Interview Process: One and done!!! (can be virtual or onsite)

Must Haves:

• ICU Experience
• 2+ years of experience in cardiac focused unit or a unit that saw cardiac patients
• ACLS
• BLS

Plusses:

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Experience with devices such as: Impella, Ballon Pump (IABP), CRRT, and ECMO

Day-to-day: A client of Insight Global is looking for an ICU nurse to work in their cardiac ICU. This nurse will be regularly checking vital signs. They will also be responsible for administering medications and treatments, and will be managing equipment such as ventilators, defibrillators, and cardiac monitors, forms. This resource will be work 3, 12 hour shifts including rotating weekends.

Impotant Notes:

• This is a brand new unit and it is a beautiful unit that just opened!
• The patient ratio is going to be 1-to-1 or 1-to-2.
