Pyramid Consulting is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatrics Level IV for a nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, quality, and compassionate nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment. Serving as a key liaison between patients, families, providers, and staff, the RN promotes patient-centered care, ensures continuity of services, and fosters a supportive environment. This role upholds professional standards, participates in performance improvement initiatives, and contributes to the development of peers while maintaining licensure and competency requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care & Coordination:
    • Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions; implement care plans using sound clinical judgment.
    • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, education, and changes in condition in compliance with hospital policies.
    • Prioritize and manage patient flow to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Patient Advocacy & Satisfaction:
    • Act as a resource and advocate for patients and families, ensuring concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
    • Provide patient/family education on health conditions, treatments, and care plans.
    • Support patient- and family-centered care principles to improve satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Performance Improvement:
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care, safety, and operational efficiency.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of best practices.
  • Professional Competency & Growth:
    • Maintain active licensure, certifications, and required training.
    • Pursue professional development, research, and continuing education opportunities.
    • Stay current with industry standards, evidence-based practice, and organizational policies.
  • Leadership & Professionalism:
    • Serve as a mentor or preceptor to support the growth of nursing staff.
    • Promote a positive work culture built on integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
    • Actively participate in shared governance, peer feedback, and recruitment initiatives.
    • Demonstrate adherence to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (required) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred Licensure/Certification (Required upon hire): Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (single-state or multi-state compact) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Instructor certification accepted)
